Meet Our Dietitians / Blair Ortega
Blair Ortega, MS, RD

I always knew that I wanted to work in the health field, and when I found a career that combines my passion for helping others along with my love of food, I knew I had found my purpose! I have always enjoyed helping others learn what they can do to achieve their goals and heal their relationship with food.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Masters of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from Eastern Michigan University. I have experience working with a variety of individuals looking for strategies to address challenges they face in body, mind, and spirit.
We all deserve to live a life where we can enjoy food without preoccupation and take pleasure in how we choose to nourish ourselves. We deserve to move for joy and not exercise because of obligation or guilt.
I believe in Health at Every Size (HAES). HAES includes celebrating body diversity, recognizing uniqueness in race, ethnicity, culture, gender, size, age, sexual orientation, religion, class, abilities, and other social identities, and the importance of overall wellbeing. Weight does not define an individual. We are wonderful human beings regardless of our body’s shape, size, or relationship with gravity.
I believe in intuitive eating which teaches how to dismantle what diet culture has taught and learn to listen to the body, trusting it to communicate what it needs to feel nourished and satisfied physically and emotionally.
I am ready to meet you. I am excited to be a part of your journey to recovery, healing and food freedom! Let’s work together to help you break the cycle of dieting and move forward with your life.
